Brighton Embroidery Group Membership
We are a friendly, independent group, who meet at Patcham Community Centre, Brighton. The Brighton Embroidery Group is affiliated to ‘Stitchers Together’, a South East of England, regional group. ‘Stitchers Together’ organise larger, regional events and cover the area from Portsmouth to Canterbury.
Members of the Brighton Embroidery Group are passionate about all things involving textiles and stitch, including hand and machine embroidery. We welcome all ages from 7 to 97, whether beginners or those with more experience. All members are happy to encourage and help each other, especially whilst enjoying tea or coffee! Our annual garden party is enjoyed by all, we stitch and chat in Dianne’s lovely garden. All meetings involve either talks, demonstrations or practical sessions, held during morning, afternoon or all day sessions. We meet on the first Saturday of each month.
The annual Membership fee is £25 payable on 1st September every year. There is also a fee payable for each session attended to cover any kits supplied by members who run the session. This is usually £5 but day workshops can vary from £15 to £35 depending on the tutor’s fees.
There are no attendance fees payable for the Garden Party.
